SYBOLT enables the complete finishing of a facade in a factory. By applying ceramic brick strips, new modular houses retain the traditional and true-to-life brick appearance. The ceramic brick slips are automatically modified so that brick bonds are always suitable and gable roofs can also be produced fully automatically.
One of the many innovations of the SYBOLT is the application of the age-old cement in a new form: cementitious glue. The raw material has proven itself for centuries and we gratefully use it. By using cementitious glue and guaranteeing a 100% full-surface bonding, the bonding of the brick slips is guaranteed for decades.
Not only the placement of brick slips, but also the application of the joint is done fully automatically. The joint colour, joint depth, joint width can be varied and even the corner edges of doors and window frames are fully automatically joint (3D grouting). In addition, every joint is validated to the edge.
With SYBOLT technology, architects have more design freedom than ever before. The SYBOLT has a myriad of design options in terms of color, brick bonding, shapes, thickening, formats and angles. Brick slips are automatically modified so that every masonry bond is made tight from the facade to the gable roof. Even the cut-out for the doorbell is prepared at the factory. SYBOLT challenges creativity, without compromising on all construction benefits, quality and output.
Facade elements are scanned in 3D, after which the masonry bond is automatically adjusted to the deviations. The mixing ratio of both the cementitious glue and the joint is continuously monitored. In addition, the brick slip, bonding, joint, temperature, humidity, open time, processing time and dozens of other variables are validated. And the digital twin data at brick slip level is linked to a digital passport through integration with the smart factory. Above all, the entire process is fully qualified (SKG-IKOB & TCKI). This is how we guarantee first-time-right production with the SYBOLT.
With Digital Twin technology, we log all production data at brick slip level, such as production date, drying time, temperature, humidity, application force, etc. We also validate the brick slips (dimensions, colour, modification, quality), the joint (depth, width, colour), cementitious glue and joint mix (open and processing time, mortar batch, weight, water), the bonding (100% full surface) and the concrete facade itself (dimensional tolerances). All generated data comes together in a digital passport of the facade element.
